The Chesterton girls basketball team improved to 8-3 on the season and 3-0 in DAC play with a 61-28 home win on Friday night against Portage. Leading a very balanced scoring attack was Ella Boyanski with 17 points. Novea Brandon and Lindsi McGuffey reached double figures with 14 and 11 points respectively. Addison and Macie Pack combined for 11 points off the bench for Chesterton. They will return to action next Friday night to take on Valparaiso.
