Scalf Commits to University of Wisconsin–Whitewater for Swimming Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Tyler Scalf has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where he will compete as a member of the swimming program. Scalf, a dedicated member of the Chesterton Boys Swim & Dive team, has shown consistent commitment and growth throughout his high school career. He plans to study biology with a concentration in forensic science while continuing his swimming career at the collegiate level. During his time at Chesterton, Scalf has been a key contributor to the swim program. He has been a member of the Chesterton swim team for four years and has also competed with the Duneland Swim Club for eight years, demonstrating his long-term dedication to the sport. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Scalf has been involved in leadership initiatives at Chesterton High School as a member of the Student Athletic Leadership Team, further reflecting his commitment to serving his peers and representing his school community. Scalf’s leadership and effort have been recognized by his coaches and teammates, earning him the Sportsmanship Award and the honor of serving as a team captain. At the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, he will continue to develop both academically and athletically while competing in a strong collegiate program. Tyler’s commitment, leadership, and dedication to his team make him an outstanding representative of Chesterton High School.
