Batesville senior Will Jaisle struck out 12 batters as the right-handed pitcher led the Bulldogs past South Dearborn 7-0. Jaisle surrendered one hit and zero runs over six innings while walking none. The Bulldogs were the first to get on the board in the third when Dane Dudley singled, scoring one run. Dudley tossed one inning of zero-run ball for Batesville Varsity Bulldogs in relief. The southpaw allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking one. Dudley and Carson Schneider each collected two hits for Batesville. Dudley and Ronan Post were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs. Batesville was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Alex Krekeler had the most chances in the field with 12. Varsity is now 18-5 (11-2) on the season
