The Batesville girls varsity and junior varsity soccer teams traveled to Franklin County and both teams were victorious. The varsity won by a score of 4-0. Karsyn Watson started off by scoring our first goal, from an assist from Addie Reding. The second goal was by Emma Miller off of a cross from Maddie Prewitt. In the 2nd half, Hailee Weisenbach scored a goal, from a slipped pass from Reding. Thefinal goal of the day was from Watson on a third Reding assist. The junior varsity won by a score of 2-0 in one half of play. The ball stayed on Batesville's offensive half for most of the game, they just couldn't find the back of the net. With less than 2 minutes to go, Alyssa Cummings settled a ball from Franklin County's goal kick, dribbled it into place and took a shot from outside of the 18 yard box to score. About 30 seconds later, Avi Miller ran onto a deflected ball and scored.
