BHs volleyball wins Ripley County title

The Batesville High School varsity volleyball team defeated South Ripley in the championship match of the Ripley County Tourney. The Bulldogs earned a berth in the finals with a win over Milan. Batesville defeated South Ripley by the scores of 25-6, 25-16 and 25-18. Anya Richey led the way in the back row with 17 digs, while Addison Luers added 14. Reesa Zimmerman led the attack at the net with 10 kills followed by Madelyn Haskamp with eight. Setter Brooke Wilhelm led the team with 24 assists. The Bulldogs won the tourney opener over Milan by the scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-10. Zimmerman was a perfect 20-20 serving with four aces. She also let the team with 15 kills.
