BELLMONT HS ATHLETICS

The Bellmont Lady Braves played in the Teagarden Classic Saturday and came home with two victories at the FW Sport Club. They defeated FW Northrop in the first game 3-0, playing a crisp passing and possession style to take down the Bruins. The second game vs FW Snider was a very physical, hard fought match, and the Braves prevailed 2-1 to complete a great day of soccer. The Lady Braves were led in scoring on the day by Maggie Wilson with 2 goals, Khia Cannon and Lanie Wilson each had a goal and assist, Hailey Houser had a goal, and Madyson Snyder, Abby Rudy, and Sofia Steury each had an assist. Emily Barton was strong in goal all day, both games were great team efforts! The Lady Braves moved to 6-1-5 on the season.
