BELLMONT HS ATHLETICS

The Bellmont boys' cross country team placed fifth out of eleven teams Saturday in the Celina Rotary Invitational. Hayden Whittenbarger led the Braves' charge with his 12th-place finish in 17:37. Hudson Krull took 20th in 18:01, and Harry Gunsett placed 30th in 18:36. There were 136 runners in the race. Maddux Miller was Bellmont's fourth runner, finishing 40th in 19:07. Ethan Curtis, as fifth man, completed the Braves' scoring in 45th place in 19:24.
