Kamryn Ault drove in five runs on two hits to lead Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers past South Adams 19-9 on Thursday. Ault doubled in the third scoring two, tripled in the second scoring one, and walked in the third scoring one. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers collected 13 hits and South Adams had seven in the high-scoring affair. The Lady Bluffton Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after L Fonte induced Sy'Annha Jordan-Turner to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Grace Fry tripled, scoring two runs, Maci Williams drew a walk, scoring one run, Ault tripled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers scored 11 runs on nine hits in the bottom of the third inning. Williams singled, scoring two runs, Ault doubled, scoring two runs, Addison Kauffman doubled, scoring one run, Kenley Smith singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Fonte induced Fry to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Williams singled, scoring one run, Macy Lemler singled, scoring one run, and Ault drew a walk, scoring one run. South Adams scored six runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored one run, K Palomo singled, scoring one run, A Conrad singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and K Minger singled, scoring two runs. Kiah Craig earned the win for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered seven hits and nine runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out 10 and walking four. Fonte took the loss for South Adams. The hurler went three innings, allowing 17 runs (five earned) on 12 hits, striking out two and walking four. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers collected 13 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Lemler led Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers with three hits in five at bats. Craig and Williams each collected multiple hits for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. Addison Gehring led Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers turned one double play in the game.
