Carroll Captures Sectional Championship with 42–23 Win Over Northrop

The Carroll Chargers are sectional champions after a dominant 42–23 victory over Northrop on Friday night at Chargers Stadium. The win boosts Carroll’s record to 8–3 and secures their place in the regional round of the state playoffs. Quarterback Gabe Frisinger was electric, accounting for five touchdowns—three rushing and two passing—while piling up 104 rushing yards and 130 through the air. Asher Wagoner added 134 yards and a touchdown on the ground, leading a rushing attack that totaled 342 yards. Carroll’s offense was relentless, scoring on six of its first eight possessions and converting 7 of 10 third downs. The defense came up big in the second half, forcing two interceptions and holding Northrop scoreless in the fourth quarter. Harrison Scheele led the receiving corps with 86 yards and a touchdown, while kicker Eli Neuhouser was perfect on extra points and added a 39-yard punt. With the sectional title secured, the Chargers now turn their focus to the regional championship. They’ll travel to face Penn High School on Friday, November 14.
