The Carroll Chargers delivered a statement win on October 3, shutting out rival Homestead 49–0 in a dominant performance at Chargers Stadium. Carroll exploded for 35 points in the first quarter and never looked back, improving to 4–3 overall and 4–1 in SAC play. Quarterback Gabe Frisinger threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns, including a 67-yard strike to Jaidon Van Pelt, who finished with 166 receiving yards. Harrison Scheele added a 14-yard touchdown reception, while Asher Wagoner ran in two scores on the ground. Carroll’s defense was relentless, scoring twice on pick-sixes—Henry Sholl returned one 23 yards and Linkoln Grabner added a 70-yard return. The Chargers forced three interceptions and held Homestead to just 236 total yards. Devoughn Quijote capped the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Despite Homestead holding the ball for over 47 minutes, Carroll’s explosive offense and opportunistic defense sealed the shutout in one of the most lopsided rivalry wins in recent memory.
