Carroll Dominates Concordia Lutheran in 52–7 Blowout Victory

The Carroll Chargers opened SAC play with a commanding 52–7 win over Concordia Lutheran on September 5, showcasing explosive offense and opportunistic defense from start to finish. Carroll jumped out to a 21–0 lead in the first quarter behind rushing touchdowns from Asher Wagoner (2) and Eli Neuhouser. The aerial attack took over in the second, with quarterback Gabe Frisinger connecting on touchdown passes to Jaidon Van Pelt (18 yards) and Harrison Scheele (41 yards), while Grayson Esguerra added another score through the air to Colton Booker. The Chargers added a 44-yard field goal from Corbin Dempsey in the third and capped the night with an 8-yard touchdown pass from Braydon Peppler to Hayden Hoover in the fourth. Carroll’s defense held Concordia scoreless until the final quarter and limited them to just 185 total yards. Despite possessing the ball for only 12:54, Carroll racked up 293 yards of offense on just 38 plays, averaging 7.7 yards per snap. The win marked Carroll’s first of the season and a strong start to conference play.
