Last night's volleyball match versus Covenant Christian was an incredible atmosphere. We had many students attend and bring a lot of needed energy during the evening. The night started with the JV team winning in straight sets 25-17 and 25-12 handling the Warriors with some great serving and hitting. It was a great team effort by the entire team in getting the victory. The Varsity game also did not disappoint. The Lady Cadets started the first set with some good serving taking the set 25-12. However the next set the Warriors found a way to get back into the game taking the set 25-21. Not wanting to go down a set, the Cadets came back in the 3rd set to take the set 25-22. In the next and final set, the Cadets put their best effort forward to take the set and game 25-14. The crowd was really into the game and it made for a great home court advantage for the night. Hopefully we can continue to get bigger crowds as now the Cadets are now 7-2 on the season. Next up for the Cadets is a road trip to Triton Central tonight at 6:30pm.
