After exchanging punts in the 3rd quarter, Cascade was able to punch another touchdown on the board to take a 21-10 lead going into the fourth quarter. The Braves responded with a touchdown pass and two point conversion to shorten the lead to 21-18. Cadets' offense rolled the dice on fourth down all night and would do so on 4th and 8 from their own 36 yard line. Brady Trebley would scramble and fall 1 yard short of the 1st down. Indian Creek would drive down to the three yard line, however, FR TJ Turner would come up with the play of the night, forcing a fumble and JR Brody Duncan would recover in the end zone. JR Dayton Mink sealed the victory, ripping off a 22 yard run on 4th and 1. North Montgomery traveled to North Putnam for the kickoff of the IHSAA season.
