Boys Swim & Dive split against S Vermillion -Intl School

The Cascade boys swim and dive team get a win over International School but fall 16 points short to South Vermillion. The boy had a great night of swimming and diving with the team posting 8 season best times. The Cadet boys are starting to find their groove and seeing solid drops in time. In the 200 free Evan Franklin found a season best time finishing 3rd while freshman Silas Neeley finished 5th. The 200 IM had Cason VonEhrenkrook dropping time and finishing 2nd with Zac Marcum nailing down the 5th spot. The 50 free saw Caden Potters and Jackson Bolinger finishing 1st and 3rd . Brayden Marcum was the lone Cadet diver but his 2nd place finish was a big boost to the Cadets. In the 100 fly Caden Potters continued to be dominate with his second 1st place finish of the night. Senior Owen Myers had another solid night in the butterfly event bringing home a 4th place finish. In the 100 free Noah Bush and Jackson Bolinger finished 3rd and 4th. Senior Emory Lopossa was back in the water for this meet and brought home a solid 3rd place finish in the 500 free event while teammate Sawyer Ellis added points with his 5th place finish. The 100 backstroke had Evan Franklin dropping 2 seconds while getting 3rd place. Cason VonEhrenkrook had another season best performance in the 100 breaststroke winning the event with Owen Myers finishing 4th. The boys 400 free relay was the lone relay win for the Cadets. The 2-2 Cadets are back in action on Thursday against Danville.
