Central Wins HHC Titles in Swim and Wrestling

Saturday, the Bulldogs showed up to Clinton Central with HHC Titles on the line. Wrestling as well as Boys and Girls Swiming and Diving were held at Central and the Bulldogs performed well in all areas. All three groups walked away as 2023 HHC Champions. Wrestling Clinton Central edged out the Tri-Central Trojans for a first-place finish. Overall the Bulldogs ended with a team score of 268 points beating out a second-place-finishing Trojan squad (241 pts) First-place finishers on the day for the Bulldogs were, Nolan Ward (106), Alex Schultz (120), Cael Albaugh (195) Second-place finishers were, Levi Jacobs (113), Leland Harvey (145), Leo DeLeon (160) Girl Swimming / Diving Girls Swimming finished in 1st place with a score of 116 pts over Delphi (75), Eastern (64), and Carroll (45). Records were broken by Macie McQuinn (200 IM) and Ellie Ford (Freshman 100 breaststroke) Champions include 200 medley relay team of Elayna Faulkner, Ellie Ford, Macie McQuinn, and Laken Norris 200 IM - Macie McQuinn 100 Fly - Macie McQuinn 100 breaststroke - Ellie Ford 200 Free Relay - Ellie Ford, Laken Norris, Avery Harris, Macie McQuinn Boy Swimming / Diving Clinton Central edged out Delphi by 6 points and finished with a score of 108, Delphi finishing in second (102), followed by Eastern (53) and Carroll (33) Spencer Dunn broke the Freshman record for both the 200 and 500 Free. Champions Include Diving - Conner Tarkington 100 Free - Owen Kocher 500 Free - Spencer Dunn 400 relay - Mason Boone, Espen McCarty, Owen Kocher, and Spencer Dunn The boys recorded 37 personal bests out of 39 total swims on the day!
