The Chesterton girls basketball JV team opened the season in a JV-only game on Tuesday night at Kouts and fell to the host Fillies by a score of 46-42. The team started fast and raced out to a 19 point lead at halftime. The second half pace favored the home team as the Trojans were outscored 35-12 in the second half. The team was led in scoring by freshman Macie Pack with 21 points. Paige Clancy also reached double-figures with 11 points.
