The Chesterton girls basketball team improved their record to 13-6 with a dominating 49-11 victory over LaPorte on Thursday night. The team got off to a fast start behind it's defense forcing LaPorte into 24 first half turnovers. Lindsi McGuffey got the scoring started hitting back to back threes to start the game on her way to a game-high 19 points. The rest of the scoring was very balanced as Novea Brandon and Ella Boyanski each scored 7 while Macie Pack chipped in 6 points. It was senior night for seniors Allison Van Kley and Addison Glossinger. The team would like to thank both girls for everything they've contributed to the team these last four years.
