The Chesterton girls basketball team defeated Hammond Central and Hammond on Friday night 54 to 38. The Trojans got out and ran against the Wolves while playing tough defense on the other end. Reese Dilbeck scored 16 points to lead the way for the Trojans. Novea Brandon and Ella Boyanski were each in double figures as well 13 and 10 points respectively. Rounding out the scoring for Chesteton was Lindsi McGuffey with 8 and Addison Pack with 7. The team will be back on the road Friday night for the last DAC game of the season when the travel to Crown Point.
