🏆 CHESTERTON WRESTLING SHINES AT DAC CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🤼♂️ Senior Greyson Strickland capped an incredible performance by winning the 165-lb DAC title, defeating Crown Point’s Ben Clark 10-4 in the finals. Strickland’s path to the championship included a thrilling 9-8 semifinal comeback after trailing early — a true display of grit and determination. Strickland’s rise is especially impressive considering he didn’t start wrestling until his freshman year, but his persistence and daily grind in the wrestling room have paid off. He and teammate Max Quiroz were also the only Chesterton wrestlers to compete on the second day of the prestigious Al Smith Classic, where Strickland finished seventh. Chesterton’s team effort was outstanding overall, leading the Trojans to a third-place finish at the DAC Championships! Big contributions came from: 🔹 Max Quiroz – DAC Champion 🔹 Patrick Mochen – 2nd place at 175 🔹 Luke Johnson – 3rd at 138 🔹 Lucas Anderson – 3rd at 190 🔹 Tyler Santiago, Caden Mahaffey, Connor Olson, Emmet Burkus and Keegan Gibbons also scored crucial points. 📖 Read the full recap: https://www.onwardtrojans.com/24-25-stories/strickland012026 #OnwardTrojans #DACWrestling #TrojanPride 💛💙
