Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Tyler Nevious has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at North Central College to play football and track and field. A dedicated and well-rounded student-athlete, Tyler has been an integral part of the Chesterton athletic program, participating in football, wrestling, and track and field throughout his high school career. His commitment to excellence extends beyond competition, as evidenced by his academic achievements. Tyler has earned Academic All-State honors in wrestling (2024–25) and football (2025–26), highlighting his ability to balance rigorous academics with high-level athletics. In the classroom, Tyler has maintained an outstanding 3.87 GPA and plans to pursue a degree in Exercise Science at North Central College. Tyler’s work ethic, character, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the Chesterton High School athletic programs. His coaches and school administrators are confident he will continue to grow and succeed at the collegiate level. Tyler will be joining a strong program under the direction of Head Coach Brad Spencer, where he will have the opportunity to compete and develop in both football as well as track and field.
