We are proud to celebrate Maria and Mike Bachuchin, charter inductees into the Chesterton High School Athletic Hall of Fame (Class of 2011) for their remarkable contributions to the Trojan community. For 25 years, Maria and Mike dedicated themselves to building Chesterton’s gymnastics program into a powerhouse. Under their leadership, the team captured three state championships, etching their names into the history of Trojan athletics. Maria, in particular, continued her involvement beyond coaching — she served as a licensed gymnastics official, judged at the state level, and was honored in recent years as an Outstanding Gymnastics Official.
