Danville Community High School

On Saturday, we welcomed Danville Swim & Dive alumni back to the pool for a special set of exhibition races. It was an incredible atmosphere and a great reminder of the tradition and depth of our program. We also competed in a dual meet against Cascade. Even with a few athletes out due to injury and family trips, the team that was present competed hard and represented Danville well. The boys came up just 10 points short in a tightly contested meet. A standout performance came from William Clodfelter, who swam his way into the top five all-time in school history in the 100 backstroke. The girls earned a team victory, highlighted by a handful of lifetime best performances across the lineup. After a demanding two weeks of training, it is incredibly encouraging to see this level of effort and performance at this point in the season. The team is making great progress, and the hard work is starting to show.
