Lady Musketeer Softball defeats Mitchell 14-1

The Lady Musketeers softball team's bats awakened while playing a home contest that was moved to Mitchell's turf field as Eastern's field was unplayable because of the recent rain. The Lady Musketeers record now stands at 1-1. The Lady Musketeers put up 14 runs on 11 hits. Leading the way was Ivy Dixon who went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIS. Adriana Dolleris had a hit and 3 RBIs herself, Sidney Patton, Sahara Short, Bailey Smith and Lila Blevins also collected hits. Bracie Jackson scored 3 runs and walked twice. In the circle. Jackson had 3 innings of work surrendering only 1 hit and strikeout 8 Bluejackets. Patton worked 2 innings herself to close out the game giving up 1 hit, 1 run, 1 walk and striking 1 Bluejacket. The Lady Musketeers record is now 1-1 as they head to Brownstown Central this evening.
