Lewen signs to play baseball at Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma

Senior baseball player Martin Lewen, recently signed to play baseball at Southwestern Christian University. Southwestern Christian University (SCU), located in Bethany, Oklahoma, fields a competitive baseball program that competes in the NAIA's Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC). The Eagles have established themselves as a consistent postseason contender, notably winning the NCCAA National Championship in 2024. They currently have a 33-16 record and have secured berth to the NCCAA National Tournament. As a Musketeer, Lewen has played baseball and football. He has missed most of his senior year after being hit the face with a pitch during the preseason scrimmage at Borden. Lewen has recently returned from a broken orbital bone injury and is 7-11 at the plate with 1 homer, 4 RBIs and 5 Runs scored in 6 games. His current slash line is .636/.750/1.750 and he has made some impressive plays since returning to centerfield for the Musketeers.
