(Jr) Katie Hauner advanced to the Evansville Regional at the Historic Angel Mounds State Park. She will run at 12:15 pm Eastern Standard Time this upcoming Saturday against the best runners in Southern Indiana as she looks to advance to the State Finals. This past Saturday, Katie finished 13th at the Bedford North Lawrence Sectional with a time of 20:48 to advance to the regional again. Last year Katie advanced to the State Finals in Terre Haute, Indiana. Katie has had a great year and has won multiple invitationals including the Silver Creek, Eastern and Crawford County Invitationals along with earning the individual Southern Athletic Conference Championship. In the boys race, (Fr) Vance Sowder finished 54th with a time of 21:27, (So) Gavin Blong finished 69th with a time of 23:24 and (So) Leland Combs came in 79th with a time of 26:33 to finish their seasons
