Christopher Angeles represented Frankfort at the Carmel Distance Showcase in the 3200m run. Chris placed 45th out of 198 with a time of 9:29.45. Congratulations Chris! In Frankfort’s first home meet of the season both boys and girls track ran strong and had some top finishers. Ladies who helped with a strong 4th place finish are: Kimberly Moreno who placed 3rd in the 1600m run, Noemi Garcia who placed 2nd in the 3200m run, the 4x100m relay made up of Natalie Perez, Tavarionna Bolden, Ella McAtee and the girls 4x800m relay made up of Noemi Garcia, Caledonia Kays, Kimberly Moreno, and Ashley Vasquez-Rivera both placed 3rd. Jordyn Garcia placed 2nd in Shot Put and the outstanding athlete of the evening was Lily Rockhold who took a 2nd place win in High Jump, and 1st place in Discus. Boys placed 5th overall. Jaydon Davis placed 3rd in the 100m dash and 4th in the 200m dash. Max Whitlock ran a competitive 400m run and placed 3rd with a time of 54:33! Uriel Cobbs placed 5th in the 3200m run. Owen Hudspith took home a first place finish in Pole Vault, congratulations to all boys!
