The Flashes football lost 10-14 to Center Grove the 1st round of sectional. The Flashes offense was lead by Jeremiah Smith with 90yds rushing and 2 TDs. The Flashes offense was lead in passing by Nevan Tutterow with 90 yards and lead in receiving by Will McKinley. For special teams Zach Naessens hit a field goal and made his lone extra point. The Flashes defense finished with another good performance Center Grove was averaging over 35 points a game and were held to 14. Jayon Harvey and Eli Cox lead the Flashes with 9.5 tackles. Eli also had a 1 TFL and a forced fumble. Wyatt Penney had 6 tackles and a sack, Talan Humphrey added 2 TFLs and a fumble recovery. Hudauri Hines shadowed Center Grove's top receiver and only allowed one catch in coverage.
