Their attitudes were very respectable to the referees and to their opponents. They were open and receptive to calls made against them, which is quite foreign to today's regular play in sports, and were supportive to the other team, even when it went unacknowledged by them. Even when an opponent when to the ground during play, they still reached out a high-five hand multiple times, even when their opponent didn't necessarily see it or reciprocate. They were encouraging to their teammates after a tough call or unlucky play, and they created an atmosphere that showed they can play the game well and maintain a level of class. I specifically want to acknowledge Franklin Central #7 (Tyler Devine) and Franklin Central #77 (Aidan Walker) for exemplifying these character traits in their play and showing that you don't need to wear an armband or be on varsity squad to be a leader on the pitch.
