The #9 Lady Flashes Cross Country team earned their highest HCC finish in school history Saturday by finishing 2nd overall to #6 Noblesville. In a conference that boasts all 8 teams ranked in the top-20 in the State, it is easily the toughest conference in the State and quite possibly the Midwest. The FCXC gals put 6 girls in the top-25 and was the only team to do so in either the boys or girls races. All-HCC honors were earned by Savana Miller, Dakota Miller, and Natalie Vandesteene. On a rainy and muddy course the girls still had 6 girls break 20:00 for the 5k Course. On the boys side, the #13 FCXC guys finished 5th overall as a team to #1 Brownsburg, #2 Noblesville, #6 Fishers, and #8 Hamilton Southeastern. Evan Farmer earned All-HCC honors finishing 12th. The squads are next in action Saturday evening at 9pm at the Nike Twilight Invitational under the lights at Indiana State University.
