Great Start to Outdoor Season

The Flashes had an excellent start to their outdoor season last night versus Greenwood and Cathedral. The boys won by a score of 110.5 to 35 (Cath) and 21.5 (GW). There were several excellent performances. Dylan Keck was 2nd in the 100M, but ran a 10.90. Rylan Hainje, Zeke Draher, and Jett Snell went 1-2-3 in the 110 M hurdles. Flashes distance took places 1-4 in the 1600M (Reedus, Wright, Leal, Trout). The 4x100 of Keck, Hainje, Mitchell, and Swangian was first with an excellent time of 42.28. Clerger and Mehrlich were 1-2 in the 400M. Hurdlers were again 1-2-3 in the 300 hurdles- Hainje, Snell, Draher. Emilio Leal and Drew Wright were 1-2, with Leal going 1:59 in the 800. Dennis Mitchell, Dylan Keck, and Kervenson Clerger were 1-2-3 in the 200. In the 2 mile, Farmer, Tharp, and McVey were 1-2-3. Preston Stokell took first place in pole vault with a jump of 13-6. Long jumpers Damir Swanigan and Isaiah Holmes were 1-2, both with jumps of over 20 feet. Preston Stokell and John Steinhofer also had nice throws in the 130’s, taking place 2 and 3 in the disc. Great start to the season!!
