The Lady Flashes Track Squad punched their tickets to the State Championships Tuesday night at the Lawrence Central Regional finishing 3rd overall as a team! The 4x800 relay crew of Kaitlyn Pettet, Dakota Miller, Camryn Simons, and Savana Miller pulled away late to WIN in a NEW SCHOOL RECORD time of 9:11.30! Next up Savana Miller came right back in the 1600 to finish 2nd in 4:57 to hit the state standard and advance in her 2nd event of the night. Dakota Miller made it a family affair by finishing 3rd in the 800 with a time of 2:16.33, which is the #4 time in SCHOOL HISTORY! Dez Webber finished out the night with a PHENOMENAL performance in the shot put to finish 3rd with a throw of 38’10”! These Lady Flashes will compete next Saturday at the State Championships at North Central High School!
