London Payne was named Girls Golf Academic All-State which is one of the most prestigious honors given out as only 15 girls throughout the state are recognized. London was the #1 player for the Guerin Catholic golf team which advanced to regional play this season. Criteria listed below: This award is given to the top 15 student athletes based on academic success and participation on their varsity golf team. This award is available to seniors only, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and SAT score of 1100, and who competed at their Sectional tournament and in at least half of their varsity events this season.
