Over the weekend, the Golden Eagle Girls Basketball team learned the results of the sectional draw. Currently the team sits 9-12 on the season, and ends their regular season this Friday, January 26th at 6:00 PM when they host the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights. This is the first game of a girl / boy double header. The Golden Eagle Boys Basketball game will tip at 7:30 PM. The IHSAA 3A Girls Basketball Sectional 27 will be hosted by Bishop Chatard starting on Tuesday January 30. Other teams in this section are Bishop Chatard (14-7), Brebeuf Jesuit (15-6), Heritage Christian (11-9), Herron (15-6), Shortridge (12-8). The Golden Eagles (9-12) received a first round bye and will face the winner of the Heritage Christian vs Herron Game (1/30, 7:30pm) on Friday, Feb 2 at 7:30 PM.
