GC Swim and Dive had another fantastic evening racing at Schools No Pools Invite. The Boys earned a 3rd place overall finisher and while the Girls placed 4th. Winners and Podiums are as follows: Will Ladine '26 placed 1st in the 200 Freestyle, he would also take 2nd in the 100m Breaststroke Sam Holl '27 took 1st in the 200m IM and 2nd in the 500m free style Drew Wilhite '24 placed 2nd in the 50m Freestyle with a new school record of 22.00. He also placed 2nd in the backstroke. The Men's 400 Free Relay placesd 2nd with a team of Charlie Jurewicz '24, Sam Holl, Will Ladine, and Drew Wilhite. Finally the boys Medley Realy team of Drew Wilhite, Will Ladine, Sam Holl, and Charlie Jurewicz took 3rd place. On the girls side - Winners and Podiums are as follows: Kara Vanwoerkom '26 placed 1st in the 500 and Bridgett Keller '24 placed 3rd Katie Scott '24 took 1st place in the 100 Breast Sectionals are right around the corner. The Girls Swimming and Diving team heads to Noblesville High School February 1st for their sectional round, while the Boys Swimming and Diving team will travel to Carmel High School February 15th.
