On Wednesday, March 6, the Golden Eagle Boys Lacrosse team opened its season against the Noblesville Millers with at 13-12 overtime loss. The team faced adversity and had to battle through penalties and 4 goal deficit in the second half to tie the game. The Golden Eagles were led by Cooper Navarro '24 with 4 goals and 1 assist. Gavin Soucie '27 made his first start as Golden Eagle and made a splash with 3 goals and 2 assists. Evan Bair '24 had a strong night with 2 goals and 2 assists. Luke Sell '24 contributed with 2 goals. John Stordy '25 had 1 goal. Elias Niccum '25 made his first start at goalie and logged 13 saves. The team will faces in state rival South Bend St Joe in South Bend on March 16th.
