On Saturday, March 9, the Boys Basketball team traveled to Greenfield Central to play Washington in a 3A regional match up. Robert Sorensen '24 drove the team to a 56 - 39 victory with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Dylan Murans '24contributed with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Meanwhile Bryson Cardinal '25 led the team with 7 rebounds, he also had 6 points and an assist. This is the Golden Eagles third Regional Championship in four years. Seymour is hosting the 3A South Semi State Games. Evansville Bosse (15-10), Danville Community 22-3), Guerin Catholic (21-7), and Scottsburg (22-5) will all play on Saturday March 16. Guerin Catholic will play Danville at 10 AM. Bosse will play Scottsburg at Noon. Winners of each game will play for the Semi State Championship at 8:00 PM.
