The Golden Eagle Boys Basketball team played games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. They split the weekend with a win on Friday, and loss on Saturday. Friday - The team travelled to play Lafayette Central Catholic as a part of a Boy Girl double header. The Golden Eagles executed well offensively with 3 players scoring in double digits. Carter Murans '27 had 20 points. Bryson Cardinal '25 had 18 points. Julian Melendez '25 had 10 points. The team also shot 50% from the three point line as well. The team brought home a 67 - 31 victory. Saturday - The Golden Eagles hosted the Noblesville Millers for an afternoon tip off. The team got off to a slow start and never fully recovered. Jake Grissom '27 led all scorers with 11 points, Cardinal had 10 points and led the team with 9 rebounds. The Golden Eagles return to the court Saturday Feb 8 at 1:30 when they host Culver Military Academy.
