Golden Eagle Boys And Girls Lacrosse Headed to State

This week, the Golden Eagle Boys and Lacrosse teams played in their respective Final Four match ups to earn their way to the State Championship. On Tuesday, the Golden Eagle Boys Lacrosse team faced the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies at HSE. The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 5 - 1 lead and never looked back. The team pulled off 13 - 3 victory a punched their ticket to the 1A State Finals. For the boys, this was their fourth time to the Final Four, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2025. It will be their third appearance in the state final game, 2021, 2022 and 2025. On Wednesday, the Golden Eagle Girls Lacrosse team faced the HSE Royals at Beaver Materials Field in Noblesville. The first half was tight, and end 8 - 6 in favor of the the Golden Eagles. In the second half the girls scored 6 goals and shut out the Royals, final score 14 - 6. This is the fourth straight final four appearance for the girls, dating back 2021. This is also their fourth straight state final game. The girls will play Carmel at 1:30 at Beaver Materials Field. The boys will play Evansville Memorial at 4:00 at HSE. Both teams are seeking to balance out earlier losses to these teams. The girls played Carmel in April and came up one goal short, 7 - 6. The boys played Evansville Memorial in their first game of the season in March, on the road, and lost 13 - 10. Way to go both teams! Come support both teams on Saturday!
