On Monday June 2, the Golden Eagle Baseball team won their first sectional in program history. They day started in the sectional semi final when the boys beat Brebuef Jesuit 5 - 3. Tate Troxell '26 threw for 6 innings and had 10 strikeouts. Karson Smith '26 went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Carson Kail '27 also went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs. In the championship, the boys beat Crawfordsville 10 - 1. Luke Gremelspacher '26 had 5IP, 1ER, 7K. This is the first baseball sectional in program history. The boys advance to regionals where they will face Cathderal on Saturday.
