On Senior Night, the LHS Boys Tiger Wrestling team celebrated a team victory over the Western Boone Stars 38- 23. We had a great night honoring our seniors and thanking them for their hard work and dedication to our program. This senior class has been truly special. Our core group—Braxton Aragon and Thomas Thompson coming through our youth program, along with Niko Trepcos and Garren Stokes who began in middle school—has accomplished some incredible feats, with even more still to come this season: • 15 varsity letters • 7 individual conference championships • 1 team conference championship • Regional qualifiers x 7 • Semi-state qualifiers x 4 • Currently sitting at 364 total varsity wins Juelz Suarez and Nas Byard joined us this past year, came in ready to work, bought into our system, and have brought tremendous energy to our room. Braxton Aragon reached the milestone of 100 career wins back on December 20th, and we were proud to honor him for his continued success. He now sits at 113 wins. Coach King and Coach McCloskey also recently surpassed the 100-varsity dual win mark in their eight years together leading this program.
