The 8th grade girls' basketball team is off to a strong start this season, opening with a 2–0 record after back-to-back wins over Speedway and Western Boone. The season opener against Speedway set the tone winning 40-11. The team came out focused and energetic, executing on both ends of the court and finishing strong. That momentum carried into the second game against rival Western Boone, where teamwork, hustle, and consistent effort led to another well-earned victory 41-21.
