Camden Hawkins collected three hits in three at bats, as LMS Gold defeated Western Boone 15-7 on Thursday. Hawkins singled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the first inning. LMS Gold won thanks in part to 10 runs in the first inning. Brayden Wegener singled, scoring one run, Roman Moore singled, scoring one run, Abram McHenry drew a walk, scoring one run, Jameson Pease tripled, scoring two runs, Ace Goodnight drew a walk, scoring one run, Hawkins singled, scoring two runs, Noah Adams singled, scoring one run, and Moore doubled, scoring one run. A single by Hawkins, a double by Wegener, and a single by Moore helped LMS Gold extend their early lead in the second. LMS Gold added one run in the third. Adams singled down the left field line following a 6-pitch at-bat, making the score 15-2. Western Boone scored five runs on two hits in the top of the fourth inning.
