The boys tennis team defeated Alexandria and Jay County at the Luddy Tennis Center on Saturday to start the season 2-0. We have a couple new faces in the lineup and are still trying to figure out what lineup will be our strongest. It was great first couple matches to see where we are at against other teams. 4-1 vs. Alexandria 1S - Leo Underhill won 6-0, 6-0 2S - Matt Hastings lost 6-4, 4-6, 4-10 3S - Cameron Hastings won 7-5, 6-2 1D - Vincent Farris/Austin Nunez won 6-1, 6-0 2D - Trenton Boughton/Dylan Blackford won 6-2, 7-5 5-0 vs. Jay County 1S - Leo Underhill won 6-0, 7-5 2S - Matt Hastings won 6-0, 6-4 3S - Cameron Hastings won 6-1, 6-0 1D - Vincent Farris/Austin Nunez won 6-0, 6-1 2D - Trenton Boughton/Dylan Blackford won 6-0, 6-0 The Trojans host Lapel Monday at 5:00.
