We were able to win our 3rd straight Sectional Championship on Friday night. Our three singles guys, Leo, Vincent, and Matt came out playing incredible from the start and in about 25 minutes, all three had completed 6-0 first sets. The trio would go on to win their matches in straight sets. Both doubles teams played great as well, 2 Doubles, Trenton and Dylan really turned up their games in the 2nd and 3rd sets. 1 Doubles, Austin and Cameron, played really good against a strong Raider team. With the win, our record improves to 20-4 on the season. This marks only the second time in school history of reaching the 20 win milestone. We’ve accomplished this feat in 2 of the past 3 seasons. 1S - Leo Underhill won 6-0, 7-6(4) 2S - Vincent Farris won 6-0, 6-2 3S - Matt Hastings won 6-0, 6-1 1D - Austin Nunez/Cameron Hastings lost 2-6, 3-6 2D - Trenton Boughton/Dylan Blackford won 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 The Trojans play in the Regional at Mt. Vernon against New Palestine.
