Girls Tennis goes 2-1 and finishes 3rd in Trojan Invite

The girls had a great day Saturday, playing in our own invitational with a field of multiple district ranked teams. In the first round, the Trojans matched up against Danville and and defeated the Warriors 5-0. In the semi-final round, the Trojans took on District 8, #6 Silver Creek and nearly beat the Dragons, before falling 3-2. In the 3rd place match, the Trojans met a familiar opponent in Connersville. The Trojans prevailed for the second time this season against the Spartans, 3-2. Huge congrats to sophomore Peyton Blessinger on being named to the All Tournament Team as she went 3-0 on the day. Ashlynn also was also a perfect 3-0 on the day with no set closer than 6-3. Emma and Cadence were great at 1 Doubles going 2-1. Cloe at 3 Singles, Watty and Chelsie at 2 Doubles each going 1-2 with wins over Danville on the day.
