What a night! Monday, the Trojans travelled to Lapel to take on a very strong and experienced Lapel team. Returning everyone from last year, we knew this was going to be a tough match. In one of the most exciting matches in recent Trojan Tennis memory, we pulled off a 3-2 win....all three wins coming in dramatic 3rd sets. The team was down 0-2 after the first two matches and then the #2 Doubles of Dylan Blackford and Kaeson Amman secured the first Trojan win. Next, #3 Singles Cameron Hastings locked up his 3rd set. That evened the match at 2-2 and set up #2 Singles Caleb Inman to finish off the dramatic conclusion in a 12-10 win in his 3rd set tiebreaker. 1S - Austin Nunez lost 3-6, 1-6 2S - Caleb Inman won 0-6, 7-5, 7-6(10) 3S - Cameron Hastings won 5-7, 6-1, 7-5 1D - Cormac Stilwell/Scott Gilman lost 0-6, 0-6 2D - Dylan Blackford/Kaeston Amman won 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 JV winners were Jaxon Ellison in singles and the doubles team of Jonah Kinnaird and Kade Siewert. Varsity record is now 2-1.
