New Prairie Blanks South Bend Washington 5-0 The New Prairie boys’ tennis team earned a 5-0 victory over South Bend Washington on Monday evening. In singles action, Jon Woodham led the way at #1 Singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Eric Bailey. Mason Fraser cruised at #2 Singles, dropping just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory, while Ethan Odle delivered a flawless performance at #3 Singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Makel Williams. The doubles teams were equally impressive. At #1 Doubles, Dylan Bishop and Graydon Long swept Christopher Sykeb and Clijah Smith 6-0, 6-0. The #2 Doubles match was won by Kaleb Meadows and Braden Bachmann via forfeit. With the win, New Prairie improves to 4-3 on the season. They’ll face LaPorte tomorrow at Kesling Park, with first serve scheduled for 4 p.m.
