Bomber JV Baseball's Late-Game Surge Secures Victory

Rensselaer Central Junior Varsity Bombers snatched the lead late in their 6-5 victory over South Central Junior Varsity Satellites on Thursday. Rensselaer Central Junior Varsity Bombers were down 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Jackson Jones singled, scoring two runs. Rensselaer Central Junior Varsity Bombers tied the game up in the bottom of the fourth thanks to two singles. Rensselaer Central Junior Varsity Bombers tied the game at three on a single by Ollie Rusk. Landon Musch earned the win for the Bombers. The reliever surrendered one hit and zero runs over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking one. The Bombers collected 10 hits in the game. Will Beldon drove in 2 runs while going 1 for 3 at the plate. Braedy Martin led the Bombers at the plate going 2 for 4 with a double. Tytus James added 2 stolen bases. The Bomber JV returns to action Monday, April 22nd when they travel to Lafayette to take on the host Central Catholic Knights with a start time of 5:00pmCST.
