Rensselaer Athletic Department

The 6th Grade Volleyball Team is off to an incredible start to their season! They're playing as a team, communicating, serving aggressively, and moving their feet on defense. The A team is now 2-0, defeating Tri-County last week 25-12 and 25-20 and Knox Monday evening 25-6 and 25-11. Fantastic serving by all the girls! Riley Rodibaugh served 14/14 with 10 aces, Camryn Drone was 12/12 with 7 aces, and Kynedi Stokes was 7/7 with 7 aces. Our B team is now 1-1, losing a close game with Tri-County 21-25 and 12-25. Their nerves settled and they came back on fire against Knox, defeating them 25-17 and 25-13. Lanie Lane was 13/14 serving with 11 aces, Lacey Ralston was 5/8 with 5 aces, and Brynn Walker was 4/6 with 4 aces. The girls play Hanover Central tonight, starting at 6:00. Let's go, Lady Bombers!
