The Lady Bombers had a great night at the Lake Central Sectional Preliminaries. There were many strong performances, and almost every girl had a PR or a season's best. Congratulations to Aubrey Geleott and to Braelynn Jones on earning new school records. Aubrey broke the 200 IM record with a new time of 2:15.49. The old record of 2:17.26 was previously held by Ary Nelson. Braelynn broke her own record that she set earlier this season in the 200 Freestyle. Her new record time is 2:02.03 The Sectional diving competition and the swimming consolation finals and finals will take place on Saturday. The diving portion starts at 9:00 am, and the swimming portion will begin at 1:00 pm at Lake Central. The top eight swimmers will be in the finals, and 9th through sixteenth place will be in the consolation finals.
